Maximum Overdrive is one of my favourite bad movies, so I have high hopes for this one.

You want to know the punchline? It made $74 million opening weekend. It was the top grossing film in the world last week.

Keep in mind, this is despite the exchange rate meaning that a movie ticket at a high end theater costs less than $5, and at many is about $2 or less. I think I saw Thor Ragnarok for about $2.50.
