In the interest of broadcast airtime fairness, Rassmussen released his October party affiliation for the month of October:

At this point, no matter what anyone believes, it’s time to put on the crash test helmet and hold tight. There will be soul-searching and post-mortems aplenty regardless of the outcome. Perhaps I will be the happy Qt3 contrarian Wednesday morning, or maybe I will be the mournful dirge-singer who shouted into the gale. Nonetheless, I send everyone personal well-wishes.

I don’t agree with you on much, man, but I agree with this.

Cheers, mate.

Joe Biden picks up 17-year old high school girl and gives her a lift

No, that’s not Onion Joe, but that’s your first thought!

“If this Trans Am’s a-rockin’, don’t come a-knockin!” said the Vice President, as he winked knowingly at MSNBC reporter Joe Walsh."

I don’t want to much up the election thread with possible conspiracy theory, but here and here indicates it may end up taking some time before OH votes are tabulated.

Bob Fitrakis (who filed the suit) is a loon. He is the left’s equivalent to Bachmann/Akin/etc from the right’s crazy machine.

Yeah, and in a clear attempt to suppress the vote in Ohio there’s this:

In a last-minute directive issued Friday night that could disenfranchise thousands of Ohioans and tip the outcome of the election, Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted changed requirements for submitting provisional ballots on Election Day.

The directive requires voters, not election officials, to fill out a confusing form listing the type of ID they provided to vote. This new directive is a clear violation of Ohio law and puts even more votes at risk of not being counted. Secretary Husted even instructed election officials to not count ballots where that part of the form has not been correctly filled out by a voter.

An emergency motion to halt the directive has been filed in federal court by voting rights activists, but to get fast action we need to show that people across the country are outraged.

Thanks!

–Ohio State Rep. Mike Foley and Cleveland native Nina Hart

You just don’t change stuff like this on the eve of an election. It’s clearly an attempt to disallow a few thousand votes, which could be enough to shift Ohio and likely the election towards Romney.

Yeah. I’d hate to think he’s right, and organized voting fraud has already stolen elections. That could never happen in America, though.

Husted should be working for Putin. He’d fit right in.

If Romney wins, I’m going cannibal early.

I know it’s hard to believe, but I just now got my first forwarded chain-email of the campaign. I guess that social networking thing has really cut down on the email portion of the spam. Or maybe it’s just mostly getting caught in GMail’s spam filter. Surprisingly, it’s not an attack ad in email form.

What is this?

Something that makes the case for voting for Barack Obama.

What can I do?

If you like it, we ask that you share it with any friends, family members, and neighbors you know who are still making up their mind about who to vote for (and everyone knows some). All you have to do is pass it on – forward it, share on Facebook, or on Twitter.

Done. What else?

If you spot something that’s especially persuasive or inspiring, or if you want to share your own graphic, essay, or personal story, send it on to forwardthis@barackobama.com and we’ll pass the best ones along. Click here to check out all of our “Forward this” posts.

With one day to go in this election, and millions of voters still making up their minds, it’s the job of everyone who supports President Obama to let everyone else know who they’re voting for this year – and why.

I’m embarrassed for my state, especially because he’s been caught doing shady things like before and is still in office.

Some of those people on that list are funny.

I wasn’t sure what to do, but if Jay Z says Obama’s the right man for the job, well then the case is settled!

Americans listen to celebrities on every other issue (including vaccinations for their children), so why not voting?

Cute fun-fact buried in the Washington Post today.

The last time a Republican ticket that did not include a Bush or a Nixon won the White House?

Yeah, because Ike had Nixon as his VP, right?

Yes…

On the lighter(?) side of things, Twitter users create mildly partisan*, fictitious GOP rally, “#RomneyDeathRally.”
