I have no idea what game it is. The only old jrpg I know is ChronoTrigger so I’ll say that?
The character’s huge pants evoke me whoever was that clown starring in Kingdom Hearts, but that game wasn’t 2D, I think?

That was a good game. i always mix it up with Illusion of Time, though (played them back when they were released).
Man, I’ve never heard of that title. From the same folks as ActRaiser, apparently, which–to be fair–I only know as one of the various titles they always played on Nick Arcade back in the early 90s.

Terranigma’s art style looks very similar to Chrono Trigger or even Suikoden 2, I’d say.

Whoa, I was sure I was correct. Apparently I have Secret of Evermore and Terranigma switched around in my head. Just looked at a bunch of shots for both of them, and actually thought each game was the other. Weird. Very strangely specific.
