I was hoping to get at least another frame out of this, but anymunym knows his retro games. It is precisely Battle Isle 2, although 1 and 3 look virtually the same anyway. I loved this game, although I used to play it on the Amiga. The PC version appeared to be identical.

Oooooh, nice pick!

Nah, Battle Isle 1 used different colours for the units and Battle Isle 3 was higher res IIRC. I felt that a tracked vehicle in that particular shade of blue had to be Battle Isle 2 or some unknown Warhammer 40k game from the VGA era.

Will try to post something soon.

Speaking of hexes, what could this be:

Oh Man, Battle Isle games were great. (including the 1914 one they had). Played them a lot on my AMiGA. I think the last one they made was some 3D abomination?

ARKANOID?

Ultima: Worlds of Adventure 2: Martian Dreams.

That is 100% correct:

Those tiles are unmistakeable, and I’m a huge fan of the game, having played it maybe ten times all the way through.

Let me dig up a new screen!

Whoa, that was impressive!

Very good Nightgaunt!

You’re thinking of Battle Isle: Andosia War. They went with the fashion at the time which was crappy-looking 3D RTS games (!) and furthermore removed any other trace of what made Battle Isle good. The first three are classics though. I also have the “spiritual successor” Battle Worlds: Kronos in my Steam backlog. One day I’ll get around to it.

Okay, hold your breath, here we go!

In what game would you see this?

The Swapper?

Looks like a security monitor. I can’t remember seeing one but I’ll guess Dishonored

I was going to guess Salt and Sanctuary, but that screen ratio is all wrong.

No right answers yet! The screen ratio is not a mistake!

Duskers?

Not Duskers!

Next shot!

Waaaaait, I know that! Arrrrgh, I can’t remember where from!
