My first instinct was to guess Duskers as well but then I realized I had already seen this thing on RPS a couple of years ago. I then spent the last couple of days occassionally going “Urrgh, what was the name of that game again?” until a podcast I was listening to ran an ad for “Capsule Force” (no relation) and it hit me…

Should have a screenshot up in a couple of hours at most.

Well, here I go:

Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds?

If you zoom way in that looks like a WWI era infantryman kneeling. No idea what game, though.

Empire Earth?

I’ll say Divine Divinity again since I have nothing better.

Looks more like a civil war soldier to me, don’t think I’ve played any games like that. I Googled Gettysburg games (names only) and see Sid Meier made one so I’ll say that, Sid Meier’s Gettysburg.

No, clearly a WWII English soldier. Two actually, so probably a unit of them. Which still doesn’t help me a lot, to be honest. Maybe Company of Heroes?

Goddamn, you guys are making me want to go to the eye doctor. Looks like a tree and some grass to these squinty eyes!

Sacred 2, because that game has the best in-game concert of all time.

Why did I not know about this before.

You’ve been holding out on me Armando, I am disappointed in you.

Maybe Mosby’s Confederacy?

Sacred 2 is quite good; Definitively worth playing through. and the engine back at the time it was released was pretty nifty as well.
Guess you should use SweetFX or ReSHADER to prettify™ it.

Read that as Cosby’s Confederacy… shudder.

Divine Divinity?

Soldiers: Heroes of World War II

Close Combat… uh… II?

Blitzkrieg 2?

A couple of close guesses, but so far, no hits. I’ll put the second part, that will probably narrow down the setting of the game considerably once I’m back home.

2nd Pic: Oh, those guys.

Nevermind.

Commandos 3?
