There are a great many people who I can say with 100% certainty will not only be able to name the game, but the exact scene/ level of the game later.
I like this shot because it is at once distinct, but also somewhat tricker.

Yeah, I didn’t mention it, but the film grain was also pushing me toward ME even last night, but I just couldn’t place the purple stuff anywhere. And even when I thought I had, I was obviously wrong :P

Soooo I spent about 30 minutes creating a really neat dual contest that involved both a particular game and also a particularly “legendary” moment within that game. . .
. . . and then I learned that said game had already been done in the GFG previously, because I was an idiot and didn’t think to check that until I came here to post. D’oh.
Since it’s now midnight, I’ll have to go back to the drawing board and think of something new in the morning, unless people want to play the “guess the legendary moment in specific game” game :-P
I don’t see why we can’t repeat games. It’s not like the 20:20 movie game where any repeats will look the same. New games are probably best, but if you have something that’ll be fun then I reckon go for it.

Considering the sheer volume of games created up to present, we should never actually need to repeat. At least not in this decade. Though I understand that the game at this point is at times a little too uber-nerdy. However, there’s still tons of mainstream games not played yet.
Not saying you can’t repeat. Just saying there’s still a lot of popular games we haven’t done yet.
