[/I](Yeah, yeah, it’s a Mega Drive game, but still, looks like it!)
Your call. I’m fine with either.

I’ve tended towards the former, but some games are better with the latter. I’m cool with leaving it to the discretion of the user/ needs of the game.

Speedball 2 is one of those games I loved as a youth. I once made the Speedball 2 Arena as a map for the Half-Life engine, as someone I knew was trying to make a mod out of it.
I think this is something like Aliens 3. edit: actually, I now feel like it’s something that came out in the last 10 years…
Also: I sometimes randomly reveal different bits. But sometimes also grow. It depends on the game :P

Another World/Out of this World?
brothers sword and sworcery?
No particularly close guesses yet.

Indiana Jones: The Fate of Atlantis?
edit for full title
Quest For Glory (VGA version)?
The full title is Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, but yes:

Your turn, nijimeijer.
Edit: I also love how it animates:

I’ll try to get something up soon. Weekends are actually harder, as the puppy does not like me being on the PC when I could be playing with her instead :)

If you love that then definitely check out: http://www.effectgames.com/effect/article.psp.html/joe/Old_School_Color_Cycling_with_HTML5 and click on the ‘Launch With [or Without] Sound’ button. There’s loads of them so be sure to have a poke around.
That’s one of the most beautiful, fascinating and calming web pages I’ve visited though, and it’s thanks to that ingenious colour cycling technique from the 90s, the work of Joseph Huckaby, and of course LucasArts artist Mark J Ferrari. The Q&A with him is also fascinating.
