2017 Frame Game

Here’s some bricks to look at whilst I sleep:

Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption?

Oo, that’s a good guess.

It’s not a good guess because it’s WRONG!

@Fortitudo’s guesses have been closest so far in terms of gameplay style.

Kicker?

Frankly, I can’t make a guess, since it’s nearly impossible to me to guess the age of the game with that video compression (It could be as much QuakeGL as it could be Shadow of Mordor, to my eyes).
Please, save us with another of your contextual and psychological guess, @Kyosho ;)

I’ll hint that it’s around the year 2000. I’ll put a new image up in a few hours.

Shadowgate 64?

Perhaps you recognise the blurry baddies?

Hexen?

This looks so familiar (and has for multiple frames now), but I still can’t pin down a name.

Morrowind?

Gothic?

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within? :)

Rune?

@Gordon_Cameron That question mark makes you look uncertain…

But you needn’t be! Rune it is!

It’s from about 4:00 into this stream. It looks a bit better in motion, but there’s also so much you can do to Unreal Engine 1 in 2001.

Thought I recognized those little goblin dudes. I always liked Rune – not a great game, but atmospheric. The Old Man Murray pan is still a classic, though.

Will get something up in a bit.

Frame 1.

Empire?

Not Empire.

Next frame:

Earthworm Jim?
