If it’s 10, it’s gotta be the remaster, though, which I Think has already been done. . .
The screen looks right for a 3DS game to me.
The UI looks like an Etrian Odyssey game to me. Etrian Odyssey 4?
That “A” button’s colour got a distinctive feel to it, doesn’t it! It is from the 5th iteration to be precise, my friend!
I had passed “4”, and just grabbed “5” this week, and I must say I have been quite disappointed by its class system. Basically, you can pick some kick-ass skill for a class, but you’ll want most of your team built as merely booster for to take advantage of that kick-ass skill. Feels like I am designing a single character instead of a team, and this isn’t grabbing me.
The map drawing sexyness is still there though, so I’ll stick with it, until some bug prevents me from completing it, like it happened to me in every single of the 3 other games I played!
Or maybe I should just give 4 a chance?
Most of us won’t know 5 because it hasn’t released outside Japan yet, so hard to compare. But I’ve often seen it said that the best two are 4 and Fafnir Knight (remake of 2, in classic mode where you make your party).
Well, instead of passing for a pedantic ass, I’ll blame this on Google, which was telling me 5 was released a year ago. Can’t trust robots.
The original 2 is still my favorite, gameplay-wise, of the series, so it sounds like I am going for a trade in with the 4th game!
It was, in Japan. :)
October 17 is the US date apparently, and us poor non-US westerners are “Q4 2017”.
Yeah 4 was the last one released in EU/US, and we’re all excited to try it out. It’s been getting good reviews, those I read translated, but none have brought up your issues with it so I’m hoping to read reviews from trusted sources to see what folks think.
EO4 was amazing, and the best in the series to date.
I’ll have something up yet today.
Waku-Waku 7 or something like that? I don’t remember the exact name.

(Sorry, no idea what Waku-Waku 7 might be, but this isn’t that. :P)

I think you meant this Waka Waka
Nothing so far, so here is part two!
