Ya, it is lot easier to figure out how to do rank preference than to use a smart phone.

Thinking back to the butterfly ballot, I’m sure the people running elections will find a way to make it super confusing.

I can’t use my smartphone. How does this Bluetooth shit even work?

It’s mainly magnets.

Live coverage from WaPo

(I can answer for Nate on this one: the DCCC will take Keirstead happily if he’s the nominee in the 48th.)

God, rohrbacher is such a piece of shit.

Part of this state senate district was Jason Kander’s old district. Still, was Trump +4. Democrat just won 60-40.

This is both cool and shocking.

Oh also: 120,000 people had their names accidentally left off the voter rolls in Los Angeles County today due to a printing error. They could still cast a ballot by provision, and have it counted once checked against the actual voter roll.

But still.

Nice.

So mainly in California, we’re seeing early absentee ballot counts, nothing from election day.

So, you know. Check back in the morning.

The CA-10 is looking scary right now.

Hey nice. That’s my district. I went out and voted for her tonight. As did my parents.

Her HQ has been writing us handwritten post-cards with different handwriting from different staffers, asking us to come vote. It was a personal touch we couldn’t resist, even though I thought it was it was a wasted vote since this is such a red district.

Hurray!

BTW, Dianne Feinstein coasting to re-election in November. She’s locked down her ballot spot already.

Gavin Newsom doing well. Looks like the CA-Gov nominee for the Democrats and likely next governor. Villaraigosa will need something huge in LA and San Diego to get onto the ballot.

Help me out here, since the districts have all changed since I lived in the Show Me.

That’s basically west of Booneville to the far KC exurbs?

De Leon looks kinda likely to make the ballot as a Democrat to challenge Feinstein, btw.

That might be fun to watch in the fall.
