Wow, really? That’s just…yikes. 60% for an incumbent in a primary running against no one of interest?

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A conservative provocateur and supporter of President Donald Trump won Virginia’s Republican primary Tuesday in the U.S. Senate race, and he has promised to run a “vicious” campaign against incumbent Tim Kaine.

The Russia-bots and 4chan team will be targeting that race for sure. Trump booster vs. Hillary Clinton’s VP nom? Gotta take him down.

I hope Kaine and his team are using two-factor authentication on their emails!

No is actually saying Stewart is so bad he can’t be elected right… I mean, look at the POTUS and Roy Moore still got votes.

Never say never, it’s politics. But there would need to be an extraordinary turn of events for Kaine not to win.

Again, the “IF” is important. Weird stuff happens in politics. Tim Kaine seems suitably boring enough to be at least somewhat weird stuff averse.

Frostman wins that seat, and becomes the first Democrat to hold the SD-1 state senate district in 41 years.

Don’t be worried about Virginia…

What, no State of Jefferson? All those I-5 barn-top banners, wasted.

Well, that’s kind of an oopsie.

This is the guy won the GOP primary in Maine.

Angus King might as well concede now.

I laughed at this. It’s fucking awful, but it’s true.

That split CA proposal is totally fixable: move LA County into “Southern California”, and move the counties from Monterey/Salinas NE to Sacramento into “California”. That’s 3 blue states and 6 Dem Senators. Or better yet, chop LA County in two, put half with Orange and San Diego counties, and half with Riverside/San Bernardino - now we have 4 blue states.
