I done voted here in West Michigan, got my mark in for El-Sayed in the Democratic governor’s contest. And then marked a whole bunch of unopposed races. I think there’s was only one other contest that even had two candidates. Not uncommon for a primary around these parts.
Number 188 at my district, which for mid-afternoon on primary day in a midterm year is pretty darn high.

OH CD-12 will be interesting for a lot of reasons, one of them is does Danny O’Connor’s lead in early voting indicate an expansion of the electorate, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did, or are these Dems that would have voted anyway?
Danny seems to have the momentum but the Rs are pouring in a ton of money and their heavy hitters.
Balderson then marveled that a guy from Zanesville had just attended a rally with President Trump. “On Saturday I had the opportunity to stand with not only the president of the United States, but Donald J. Trump , the United States president,” he said. “I kept pinching myself.”
I have no idea what the difference is between ‘the president of the United States’ and ‘the United States president’ but I will say one of the most annoying things about Our Stupid Moment in History is watching these GOP hacks crawl all over each other to slobber over that douchebag.

I see a lot of that here in the Governor and Senate races. Disgusting. I’m wearing out my mute button.
Ugh. He was a Republican until like five minutes ago. If he was running in the Republican primary against Pawlenty, I’d be thrilled, but I don’t see any reason to vote for him over Tina Smith.
I don’t live in MN, so I don’t have a vote, but I like his positions on environmental issues (ESA, mining in and around the boundary waters). I’m totally an outlier and I get it, but environmental concerns are far and away my largest issue. I don’t think he stands much of a shot (see your reaction for example :) ), but he’s not a Republican in the current sense of the word.

He’s also supremely ethical and will fight like hell to stop Trump.
Republicans are the party of the bosses. Always the bosses, and only the bosses. That’s not new.
Agree. I am happy to take and welcome new allies who have decided to become decent humans beings and left the Republican party but I wouldn’t pick one of them over an actual Democratic candidate.
Like many folks, I’ve kind of waved off the notion that Beto has a chance in Texas. But…starting to see more and more glowing embers under all that smoke.
This is the best indicator so far that Cruz is worried.
Trump campaigned there over the weekend…but hilariously last night in an appearance in Zanesville, Troy Balderson said (on camera) “We don’t want someone from Franklin County representing us.” Franklin County makes up a little over a third of the OH12 congressional district.
Bold strategy, I guess.
I’m in line right now to vote in Missouri primary. Crazy long line for my district. If guess everyone here just came from work like me. I haven’t seen a line this long other than in the 2016 election, and we know why the lines were long that day. (Trump!)
Polls are closed in Ohio. Early voting results trickling in. Election day vote is the key, obvs.

I voted in the MO primary earlier, and the poll workers said it had been a very busy day,
I’m in a little blue enclave, so that sounded good!
OH12 starting to verrrrrry slowly come into focus. Will be very close. I think Balderson will probably win by 3-4%.
I’m at a less optimistic GOP +7 guess, but it’s just my gut.
