Can I go back in time and buy a Vive instead of a Rift?
I don’t jump on boycott bandwagons very easily, but King and Rohrabacher (and I imagine Trump in 2020)? Bridge too far.
I think he left or was fired from Oculus right, so you should boycott whatever he does now.
David Valadao, the Republican representing the 21st district (just south and west of Fresno) looks like he’ll survive. His Democratic opponent, TJ Cox, never caught any fire and had a residency controversy mar his candidacy.
DCCC has canceled TV buys in the Fresno/Visalia DMZ.

This is another good one.

Cox’s entire message has been that Valadao votes with Trump 99% of the time. Meanwhile Cox has some baggage in his background and he apparently filed paperwork saying his main residence was in Tennessee I fI remember right.
I think it’s Maryland on the residency. Either way, he’s been a blah candidate.

The old dude ads against Ted Cruz are amazing.

This is the new one. Not sure if it’ll have an effect, but whatever it takes to get that PoS out of office. Who looks at Ted Cruz and thinks, “Damn, that’s someone that I can really believe in.” Who the fuck are these people? He’s about as slimy as they come.
Yeah, Cruz just exudes “smarmy televangelist” to me. But then, easily 30-40% of our population find that appealing somehow, go figure.

I don’t know how anyone can stand to listen to his voice. It’s like fingernails on a chalkboard.

“Maybe up in Canada, huh?”
Has anyone mentioned Populous?
Dunno if it means anything or represents a progression back to a…a trend line, but in the ongoing NYT-Upshot/Siena live polling, Democrats have had their best night tonight in weeks. Polls still ongoing, but some of the results are pretty great – and obviously incomplete, too (like the Florida 27th poll, especially.)
As tonight’s polling comes to an end, be really interesting to see how tomorrow’s looks!

This was in interesting history lesson:
If history had gone in a different direction in 1987, and Hart had become the 41st president rather than Bush, then Bill Clinton would not have had his chance in 1992, or perhaps ever. George W. Bush, who found his footing with a place on his father’s winning campaign, would probably never have emerged as a contender. When and whether Barack Obama and Donald Trump might ever have come onto the stage no one can say. “No first Bush if things had turned out differently,” Gary Hart told me. “Which means no second Bush—at least not when he arrived. Then no Iraq War. No Cheney. Who knows what else?”
In announcing the suspension of his campaign, Hart angrily said, “I believe I would have been a successful candidate. And I know I could have been a very good president, particularly for these times. But apparently now we’ll never know.”
We won’t.
Probably something for future Dem presidential candidates to watch out for.
How is this thread not all about the gargantuan DNA clusterfudge from Elizabeth Warren?
Yo I have more blood quantum that Warren and I’m not running around calling myself a native american.
I’ll still vote for her but ffs lady, you’re white.
Because there’s a midterm coming up and I can’t be bothered to care about the presidential aspirations of someone who isn’t going to be the 2020 nominee?
That’s how.
