The guys who are just hicks are fine. They aren’t the guys I’m worried about.

I worry about the hicks.

Well I am not equating Republicans with Neo Nazis although the Neo Nazis are definitely in their ranks.

I’ve been told since I was very small racism was going to die out, mostly with the old South; that is simply a false narrative. Since so many people say they were surprised to see how bad the problem is, I don’t know why it would be difficult to believe that you can’t wait around for a bunch of old guys to die for it to fix itself.

We all know there is a huge section of the population that isn’t voting yet, and the white supremacist and Nazis are heavily recruiting.

Oh and I forgot the most important part, some of these people are running and I think a couple won in our elections which does not lead to less in their ranks… opposite.

Marcia Fudge says she’s backing Pelosi for Speaker.

LOL! Wonder what kind of committee assignments those 16 folks who signed that letter are gonna get?

As Bodie would say: “You come at the King, you best not miss.”

I mean seriously. Those 16 folks brought pillows to a knife fight.

Oh man. That’s hilarious.

Marcia Fudge knows which side her bread is buttered on.

And there still is no candidate for the never-Pelosi cabal to back. They are failing badly at this.

For McAdams (assuming he is one of the 16), not voting for Pelosi was a campaign promise he made. That seemed to be Mia Love’s entire campaign against him, that McAdams = Pelosi.

No, literally, there were billboards that was just that. “McAdams = Pelosi”. I swear, it was the most low-effort smear campaign ever.

Moulton, Ryan and Rice are the three that are going to find that their offices have been moved to converted bathroom stalls.

The others are probably fine.

How is that not a picture of Teal’c.

Because it’s Omar from The Wire?

Let it be noted for the record once again: the only serious challenge to Pelosi’s bid for a speakership in the next congress came from the centrist wing of the Democratic party.

And another one bites the dust:

I think Pelosi’s handling of this challenge demonstrates why she ought to be speaker.

Lol fuck those guys. DINOs~ or something

Of course I am fine with moderate Democrats kind of going down the middle line, but they need to remember they’re still Democrats. They should not playing into this Pelosi is evil crap the Republicans are pushing.

Yeah, pretty much. I was ambivalent about her as speaker, but when no viable strong opposition formed to her left, well, this has kind of swung me around.

It’s a strange dynamic. Most of what I see on twitter in terms of anti-Pelosi sentiment is people who think Pelosi is too centrist (they were upset with her comment on election night about bipartisanship etc). But the actual people challenging her position are entirely to her right!

Yep, as others have said, it is definitely not the left trying to dump Pelosi:
