Dang, well done, Malkael! I played that game, and that explains why it looked familiar. I had been trying to think of a point-and-click with hand-painted backgrounds (the paths looked like they were made to be navigable by a character), but I didn’t come up with Pillars of the Earth.
Good game, although the ending moves a little too fast compared to the luxurious pace of the early game.

Ah hah! And the only other game I’ve owned in the Lords series besides Lords of Magic! I bought the two games a few months apart back in the 90s, but could never quite get into it like Lords of Magic, I blame LoM’s soundtrack!
