Wait, is that Lands of Lore 2? I forget the subtitle. If it is, I really don’t remember that section of the game AT ALL. But the UI and art style fits. And that could be the hot blonde mage chick. Though I don’t remember that outfit either. I’m so confused.

Back when I bought this game in the 90s I had had never heard of this series, but I HAD heard of Westwood Studios because my friend really liked the Command & Conquer games. So I bought the game thinking these guys were the shit.
Unfortunately my computer could just barely run this game, and my monitor was so bad I couldn’t tell what the hell was happening on screen. The game world was just a blurry convoluted mess on my shitty screen, but hey, the sound effects and voiceovers were cool.
Rewatching old footage I am enamored by the photo-realism of all the objects in the world, since the devs apparently just took pictures of a bunch of shit and plastered it to 3d models and various 2d sprites. I’ve been tempted to buy the game from GOG for like $5 or whatever, but I just know I’ll only play it for like 5 minutes and then never touch it again… as I do with so many cool old games I don’t have the patience for any more.
Oh, and the blonde is Paige Rowland, a.k.a. Dawn in LoLGoD.
