It hardly moves at all!

It looks like a Close Combat game. Can’t tell which though, don’t think it’s one of the ones I’ve played. Let’s guess at Gateway to Caen.

The tank appears to have a round turret, so post ww2 for setting I reckon.

Combat Mission: Shock Force? Here’s my thought process: I don’t play strategy games. It looks like late 90s or early 00s 3D based on the textures and water. I thought, maybe Combat Mission 1 or 2, but schurem’s statement about the tank made me rule them out. So I thought, “Hey, maybe they made a Combat Mission that wasn’t in WWii?” So a looked on Mobygames, and sure enough, they did. So, that is my explanation for my wrong answer. Good day.

If only combat mission looked this good!

War in the West ?

You wished!

My only guess would have been Close Combat, but someone else guessed that and lost. I have played too few war games. In fact I think I’ve only played one, unless you count fantasy based war games, which aren’t the same for me because (regardless of what the dorks at Wizards of the Coast want us to believe) killing orcs is less weird than killing humans, especially earthling humans from real places and time frames, unless those humans are in Age of Empires, then obviously they all need to die… I’m just sayin’

Armoured Brigade?

I knew somebody would get it! (whew)

It’s Armoured Brigade.

The nation flags gave it away. A Finnish flag… huh. And a post-war soviet tank.

Anyway, screen will be up later. What’s the rule these days on game repeats?

Game repeats are fine, since the chance of two screenshots being exactly the same is slim.

Huh, I thought War in the West won.

Nope , War in the West is a hex based game.

WELL YOU’RE HEXED BASED LAME

I was giving @Left_Empty a pity guess and the thread a bump. ;)

I am sure @schurem didn’t forget he won.

He stalks the night, on the prowl. Fate is the hunter.

While fun, doing these with cat pictures instead of just black splotches is a lot of work.
