Thanks. I had expected it to be guessed soon regardless of any hints, so I still think I may have picked a screen from the internet that wasn’t in the actual game. But hé, it’s a lovely screen, in my opinion!
Final frame:
I have zero idea what this is.
The correct franchise was actually mentioned earlier (albeit not as an actual guess…)
Nice hints, I would’ve never associated the image with the game. Well, I’m usually uncultured enough not to guess, but, you know…
I’ll leave it to the usual gang, it should be interesting.
And we have a winner!
The game plays very different from its underground predecessors, although you still get indoor locations to sneak through. Apart from the dialogues (which are cringeworthy) I like it a lot. Haven’t reached this region yet, but if it’s as beautiful as this screen suggests, I can’t wait!
Honestly, I would never have guessed it without being guided there. I’ve always considered the Metro series to be about corridors and, like, war-torn urban environments. Not vehicle elevators and massive wicker men. Maybe I need to give them a shot after all!
I’ll have a new frame up sometime tomorrow.
The first two are very much like you describe, but the last one is different. I like all of them, tbh…

@SadleyBradley Poke! You’re up.
I fold! It’s been a rough week. I’ll defer my victory to @Lamalo, as the person to indirectly mention the Metro series. If Lamalo declines, I’ll just pass to the first person to post a frame.

Thanks and apologies, though I sincerely wish to post a frame (I have a great one in mind) I am unable at this time to participate.
refrains from posting something nobody will guess because it’s not generic 3D ¬_¬
LOL I knew you guys would pick games I am currently playing - and don’t get me wrong, I have dozens of amazing screenshots of all these games - but it’s not anything I’m currently playing (to save anyone next guessing Triangle Strategy :P).
It IS a screenshot I took, of a game I did play, however. I’ll give that much of a clue, at least.
