Just got this in the Ukraine charity Humble bundle and gave it a try because of the year-end buzz it got. And it’s very clever!
That background colour should be called Pawnbarian Blue.

Complete fluke - I happened to play it for the first time a few hours ago, so it was very fresh in my mind!
On the off-chance anyone’s not aware of it, the Humble Ukraine bundle is very good, with all money going to charities helping the Ukrainian people:
(Pawnbarian along with Satisfactory were the two games from it I was interested in that I didn’t already own.)

Yep, I was pretty sure just that color could give it away.
Pawnbarian is just one of those ridiculously slick designs - so simple in mechanics but so deep in terms of actual gameplay.
it reminds me of an old game. like 13 years ago. But that resolution would be high then. Hmm…
