It’s Huniepop 2, isn’t it?
I played very little of it so far, not enough to have a well formed opinion. I can say that it shows promise and that the pixel art is gorgeous - if you like that style, that is.
I’ll report back once I play more. ;)

It was one of my favorite games in 2020 and possibly the favorite if it wasn’t for Hades. Very intensive and tactical battles once you ratchet up the difficulty. Great story in the same vein as ‘Edge of Tomorrow’.
It’s basically what JRPGs would be like if you throw away all the fluff and added in actual difficulty. Heck the game even made building relationships actually non-intrusive and fun (looking at your Fire Emblem).
Speaking of Fire emblem, the game also uses Fire Emblem’s IV system of unlocking characters. For instance, I unlocked a new character by having a women make sweet sweet love to a gun slinging robot.
And we’re back to Huniepop, it seems.
Civilization 6’s diplomacy screen nowadays? I only played the game on release.
