It must be going to a recount at this point.

Have to point out that no one is talking about CO-08 district, which is a new district northeast of Denver. Polls had Republican Barbara Kirkmeyer up by a couple points. Currently with 89% of votes in Democrat Yadira Caraveo is up by just under a point.

I don’t know if @dionisus1122 has any insights. The Denver suburbs are breaking for Caraveo and rural areas around Greeley (a cattle town turned exurb) are not surprisingly GOP country. But it looks totally winnable for Caraveo.

“Tighter than a tick.”

Even after a (likely obligatory) recount I’m thinking Boebert’s going to cry “voter fraud” if she loses.

Yes, John knows his stuff.

NV state law allows mail in ballots postmarked on Nov 8 and received by this Saturday 5 pm can be counted. I have no idea how many ballots that will amount to.

What a fascinating midterm!

I border this district. It is new. I’m less concerned with it, but Dems have a poor candidate. Stark divide between O&G MAGA country, and blue Denver suburbs creeping north.

Not sure what exactly to look for

GOP claws are out in Pa.

It’s been said before but deserves to be said again, the GOP is as divided as it has ever been. With only a slim majority in the house, it is really unlikely that they will be able to agree on anything. I have a feeling that once the election cycle starts up again, it will become even more divided as Trump and Desantis split the party between them.

All in all, the democrats should be happy that they got so much done this year and that ihe republicans likely won’t have any way to reverse it.

62,000 more votes came in from Maircopa and Hobbs lead has grown to 13,000+ and Kelly benefited even more and is now up by over 95,000.
🥳

Yeah, if Dems can hold the Senate (for confirmations) I’ll take the loss of the House at this scale and happily declare victory.

If the GOP gets the majority, at least I can be amused by reading accounts of McCarthy’s vain attempts to herd the crazier GOP cats.

This is what I want to hear. Thanks!

I guess I’m one of the bad ones. Sad swamp(*) noises :-(

(* see what I did there? my office used to literally be in The Swamp.)

Clark County released about 15,000 more votes and Cortez Masto got 2/3rds and is now down by little under 18,000 votes with about 126,000 ballots uncounted.

Fucking-ay she might pull this out making GA a side show.
🥳🥳

@Calelari I didn’t know you were also from Florida. Sorry for not including you on the “good” list. ;)

What Swamp were you in, anyway? Literal or figurative (D.C.)?

Looks like Dems win District 8 in Colorado

What used to be the team dorm a long time ago is now office space.

I changed departments about a year ago, so no longer there.

Ah. I’m entirely ignorant about most of the football world, especially the stadiums (stadia?) they play in. Half the NFL teams I know the names of aren’t even in the cities I had them associated with when I was a kid. The Rams, for instance. When I was a kid they were in LA but I gather they moved at some point (but maybe moved back again)?

If Cortez Masto and Sisolak win they will owe the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 a huge debt of gratitude.

Where are you getting your updates, if I may ask? Politico shows Cortez Masto down by over two percentage points.

I’m watching MSNBC and they just had John Ralston on plus Steve “Red Bull” Kornacki
