PA is looking surprising… But it’s way to early.

Hmm, I am worried that in alot of these places the Dems are winning due to mail-in votes being counted first. Best example of this is Ohio, CNN just said 82% of the votes that have been counted are early votes, and they are only expected to represent 32% of the total vote.

I think Spanberger will hold but Luria is in trouble

Again, I will point to the NY Times Excellent election site which breaks down at the county level how many votes are estimated to remain to be counted, and how they were predicted to break down R/D.
I don’t know what the polling/buzz is, but I’m hoping that the 5th District Oregon stays Dem.
Same cautious view here. Outside of FL, the red wave hasn’t really materialized yet.

Yes, but which of the votes in each county that has been counted is important. Since 2020 it is not simply urban v. rural counties that matter anymore, but within each county how much of the early v. election day vote that has been counted. The NY Times site has articles up now about how early returns could be misleading in Ohio and NC and others.
Look at Georgia, Walker just took the lead and still alot of election day votes left to count (hopefully in cities).
EDIT: Did I see the numbers wrong? Maybe Walker isn’t in the lead.

Ohio’s interesting - my understanding is that despite all the restricting shenanigans the version of map they’re going with is still an improvement over the previous election (even if unconstitutional), so maybe there’s some hope for the Dems
I haven’t seen anything with Walker in the lead. At the moment it’s Warnock 50% Walker 48% statewide.

They must have been looking at a particular county that has Walker slightly ahead, what a relief!

CNN just mentioned they had Walker in the lead state-wide for a couple of minutes. So I am not crazy, also a relief.
I mean, it’s close! Could go either way.

Why does Florida continue to be a complete disappointment like every single election?
Florida is a red state but for some reason everyone pretends it isn’t.

Democrats are overperforming in the RI-2 race - even if all (estimated) remaining votes go to the R (which they won’t), the margin will be much more +D than expected.
With all the talk about FL, it looks like the House results will be pretty much what was expected in terms of House seats.
Here’s fervently hoping that Dems at least keep the Senate. We just can’t have another stolen SCOTUS seat if one of the current people keels over. Also for whatever federal judicial appointments open up.

I’d trade losing the House for seeing Beto upset Abbott in Texas. Of course that won’t happen because Texas is full of too many fucktards but it would be nice.
Yeah, that is not going to happen. Sigh.
