Beto never had a chance. It’s fucking Texas.

Abrams doesn’t stand a chance, either.

Walker is significantly underperforming Kemp. It’s going to be very close, but so far Warner has the lead.

NYT just turned the needle back on and the prediction of D senate control has dropped from 61% to 49%.

Nobody knows. The polls are too close, and the races that matter are too close.

Just heard the data point that Kemp and Warnock have basically the same number of votes in Georgia. That’s pretty incredible. Fingers crossed that that holds.

VA 7 looks like it will break towards the Ds.

Good news - no red wave.

Bad news - might still be a red ripple, and a ripple might be enough.

Any chance Tim Ryan can win against Vance in Ohio? Johnson looks like he’s winning in Wisconsin.

WTF, I can’t look at the NYT needle without subscribing? You’d think they’d make a public interest exception but I guess not.

In other news, I was on Nextdoor today (I know, why do I do this to myself) and saw that my next door neighbor really believes the “voter fraud” moral panic bullshit. Other posters pointed out that in-person voter fraud is almost nonexistent. I reinforced that with the point that anyone can flap their gums and make shit up for the cameras, but if you try to do that in court you could get charged with perjury, go figure. Which is probably why there are so few proven cases of election/voter fraud.

Maybe it’s just a red stream and republicans actually have cancer.

Taking the senate as well as the house is wave enough for me, and it is starting to look patchy. NYT think Walker is more likely to win in Georgia, and I see now he has taken the lead again.

I was able to see it just making a free account on my spam email.

Mark my words, North Carolina is the next Georgia. We are one or two elections away. Beasley has run a great senate campaign and folks on the ground are learning from Georgia and patiently building the infrastructure to contest for power.

Just not there yet

If the Triad blows up and gets bluer, it might happen. Triad is kinda the swingiest area of the state right now.

Ga getting really close, the lead has flipped a bunch of times.

Pa looking not bad though? Fetterman 100k ahead, but have no idea if that is where he should be given what has been counted.

Georgia might go to a runoff again due to that idiot Libertarian at around 1.9%.

That GA Libertarian is likely taking votes from Walker and keeping Warnock in the hunt

Well, PA is one of those states where they can’t even prepare the ballots for counting till the polls close, right?
Assuming there was a big early voting turnout, that might favor the Dems, then there might be a “Red shift” as today’s votes are counted assuming more R’s voted today.

Watching the NYT House needle edge very very slowly from leaning R to tossup is very satisfying.

We are probably not going to know the Senate balance outcome tonight.
