Ilhan Omar won her primary against her opponent, Don Samuels. I mentioned him when he lost to her two years ago. I wasn’t a fan of his then and now. Not much changed in this rematch except he got fewer votes and fewer (but still plenty!) donations from Republican donors than last time, and she got more votes this time. She’s assured to sail to victory in the general election.
Robert Menendez is dropping his independent election run for senator in New Jersey. He wasn’t going to win, anyway. But now much less worry that his presence on the ballot pulls people away from Andy Kim by accident.
Wait, Bob Menendez was seriously running for senate again? Lol.
He’d made noises about running as an independent. Thankfully, that nonsense appears to be over.
What did they have to bribe him to do that?
4 or 5 gold bars. Nothing major.

These are the three tightest US Senate races according to The Cook Political Report. I am contributing to Elissa Slotkin in MI.
And their House toss ups.
A useful list of ActBlue links to give to specific groups - all tossup House races for example, or a list of tossup state legislative races etc. Harris-Walz is awesome but they’ve got plenty of money, you get a lot more bang for your buck on stuff like these:
I hear you and I am a “both and” guy.
The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee is also a worthy investment.
Absolutely nothing wrong with that! I’m in kind of a tight spot financially, so trying to maximize impact but minimize expenditure at the moment.
Both of our parents, who are lifelong Republicans , my parents will happily vote for Trump, they refuse to vote for this guy.
If he’s lost my parents, he’s losing. My fiancee’s parents are anti-Trump now, but they’ve kinda had a life event that has changed how they view their religion, so they’re learning how to use their left and right hand turn signals again.
New poll has bad news for Democrats in key Senate race | Politico
Things continue to not look good for Sen John Tester’s re-election chances in Montana. There has been a dearth of quality public polls in MT.
Traitorous fuck.
CENTRIST!!
Is a Manchin endorsement likely to actually move any needles? If so, is it likely to move them in the direction of the endorsement or against it?
I have no specific data to offer, but I doubt Mr. Manchin is very popular in Maryland. Alsobrooks has been running ads making it very clear that Hogan would be a Republican seat/vote in the Senate, even though he was a fairly popular former governor in a very blue state. Biden won Maryland by 33 points.
