3x3: favorite letter-writing in movies

I wish I could think of a good typewriter one. Someone banging away on one of those is such a great visual and auditory experience that we’ll not have in films set in modern times. Punching those aforementioned iPhone virtual buttons just isn’t the same as slamming down those mechanical keys and swatting that carriage return. You can’t do that angrily with a cell phone. It’s the same reason we need to bring back rotary phones, so we can give it a good slam/hangup with someone pisses us off.

I haven’t a clue if Finding Forrester is a good movie, but all I can think now is “Punch the keys for god sake!”

I was also amused that Tom thought the voice actress for the princess in Brave was named Mary. Apparently he heard the character’s name as Mary-da.

I’d also like to hear more from Kelly Wand about movies we didn’t know were originally plays, like The Limey. Is it true that Prometheus was originally a play?
