3x3's, Music, Teasers, Taglines and a little bit (in the future) more

Back in 2010 Q*bert911 started a thread to catalog all the 3x3’s. He got up to the Edge of Darkness #16 podcast before the thread stopped being updated. As of the Life After Beth podcast there are now 245 3x3’s and it seems like there would be some benefit to a thread that would capture all of the 3x3’s and more.

My goal then for this thread, the first time through the podcasts, is to list the following for each podcast:

Link to the podcast on the website
Teaser on the webpage
Date
Running Time
Opening Song
Closing Song if it’s different from the opening song
Kelly Wand tagline (in some of the early podcasts they call it a catchphrase)
3x3 Topic and who chose it
Time the 3x3 Starts
The forum thread link to that particular 3x3 from the 16th podcast onward.
The actual 3x3 Picks
I am now going to add Box Office Take as well and link that to the Box Office Mojo link. As time permits I am also going to do that for all the 3x3 picks.

I’ve noticed that from around the 18th podcast there are forum threads for each 3x3. So I am going to use those threads to list the 3x3 picks by the guys to help speed things up so that getting the first run through done won’t take forever. This means that I am simply doing a cut and paste of the 3x3 as it has been written by the guys. If you notice any errors please let me know and I’ll fix them up as soon as possible.

Once I’ve caught up to the current podcast I want to go back to each podcast and try and list, for lack of a better term, things of note during the podcast. It could be something interesting, something funny or something really different. I also want to list what Kelly calls each of his synopses. That will take a hell of a lot longer to get through but I am hopeful that I will have the first run through done before the middle of September.

A note about the music. Some of the songs that Tom has chosen for the podcasts are not ones that I am familiar with (I haven’t a clue what song was used for Life After Beth). I’ve used Google, YouTube and Shazam to try and identify the songs and I think for the most part I have gotten the songs correct and when I haven’t been able to identify the song Tom has been very helpful in identifying the song for me. If you notice any errors with any songs, please let me know and I’ll happily make the correction.

Finally, a big thank you to Dingus for the help and encouragement he has provided.

As you all know, 3x3 have spoilers about various movies so read on at your peril.

Here goes.
