Epix is now showing the modern series of War of the Worlds that was initially released overseas.
I watched the first episode, and was very pleased with its spin on things. No big war machines (i’m going to avoid spoilers…), but the episode was tense and characters interesting. Really cant wait to watch more. If you dont have Epix, you can watch the first episode online for free, so give it a shot. Its got a UK sense of story telling, which means it tends to treat its audience like they have more brain cells. :)
