I did not see a topic on this, but the wife and I watched “A Million miles Away” last night and we both really enjoyed it.
It covers the life of Jose Hernandez, who as a boy was a migrant farm worker from Mexico but eventually got into NASA and flew on the shuttle. As we are both NASA geeks and really enjoy Michael Pena, maybe we were easy targets.
We both enjoyed the family story and how Jose overcame the challenges put before him. The lead actors were excellent. We wished there was more science in the movie, and there were parts that were clearly over-dramatized.
Overall quite enjoyable.
