A Million Miles with NASA and Pena on Prime

I did not see a topic on this, but the wife and I watched “A Million miles Away” last night and we both really enjoyed it.

It covers the life of Jose Hernandez, who as a boy was a migrant farm worker from Mexico but eventually got into NASA and flew on the shuttle. As we are both NASA geeks and really enjoy Michael Pena, maybe we were easy targets.

We both enjoyed the family story and how Jose overcame the challenges put before him. The lead actors were excellent. We wished there was more science in the movie, and there were parts that were clearly over-dramatized.

Overall quite enjoyable.

I’ll watch anything with Pena. He’s amazing.

And here I thought it was a Bill Dana biography.

This was really good! I also found out the real Jose Hernandez was in the movie, look for the fist bump!

Just watched this, after bailing on Axel F after 30 mins. Ooof
