I still get the error. I’ve bought the game already a week ago and haven’t been able to play it once. No way to ask a refund neither. :-(
Finally managed to download the whole game.
Downside was the speed was like 28 to 35 Kbps during download. Slow but it worked.

I played Age Of Empires 20 years ago on a PC. I have a Mac now. I have installed Windows 10 using Boot Camp especially for Age Of Empires Definitive Edition. It it the first game ever I bought from the Microsoft Store. For me it is a bad first experience with the Microsoft Store. I have never had problems with downloads on the Mac.
Anyone playing this at 4k? My monitor resolution is 3840 × 2160, but in game for some reason in options it says 2560x1600, with no option to change it. I don’t know how it is deciding on that resolution.
