Both airsoft and paintball are bad in this regard. I personally found paintball much more goofy, at range people just indiscriminately lob (literally lob, firing slightly up and at an angle) many rounds in the hopes of getting a hit. Accuracy was a non event, it was all about spamming from a distance and suppression.
So disappointing.
