It was definitely not a hundred pages, but there were probably a few.

The SC1 and Brood War manuals are significantly larger and more impressive than the paltry, laughable SC2 manual. I definitely used to read Blizzard manuals as a form of quick entertainment. Not really the case anymore (to be fair, since I don’t play MMOs, the SC2 manual is the only modern one I’ve seen).

I remember enjoying the Warcraft 2 manual - don’t really remember the Diablo ones, but I would if they were 100 pages.

The replacementdocs PDF of the Diablo manual has 79 numbered pages. Not a hundred, but still pretty hefty.

diablo 2 manual is a little short of 100 pages.

diablo 1 manual is 80 pages, but more than 70% is lore on game and classes.

Lol, I guess it seemed bigger because I think I was 12 when I first played Diablo. Nevertheless, the point I was trying to make is that there was quite a bit of lore, but you had to read it in the manual.

Man, I hope the new manual has some nice world detail stuff in it, at least a catch up to the story with some of those amazing black and white prints that Blizzard likes to put in their manuals.

I’m going to predict not.

Hope killer.

Still bigger than I remembered.

Still you are in the haves lot, we have-nots are compelled to hate you, even if you were once one of us.

Gooble gobble one of us!

I received a beta invite at the end of last week. Spent several hours playing a barb up to the lvl 13 beta cap over the weekend. I’m really REALLY looking forward to May 15th.

OK, added you to the list of people I hate =)

Kadath, I’ve decided “Serenity Now” and that it’s not worth hating the people who get in just because they get to play D3 for 6 weeks (checks bnet account ---- still no D3 invite)… those assholes!

But seriously, at this point I’m happy to wait and experience it in all of its retail glory.

If you’re sure you’re going to buy it, you aren’t missing much. There’s maybe 2 hours of content, but I guess you could play it with each character if you wanted.

I had a dream that Diablo 3 came out yesterday, but I decided I would share a copy with my brother, playing in the morning while he played in the afternoon.

That’s how fratricide always starts.

if you really really want a beta shoot me your bnet account in a PM…

I promise nothing…

Yeah, it probably wasn’t as good of an idea as it seemed in the dream.

Oh - this is just an attempt to make us non-entitled even more desperate.

“Dance for me, puppets!”

I got like 5 beta invites from work, but since I haven’t use the invites, so I’m not sure how soon people will get them.

but yes, DANCE FOR ME!!!
