Here in europe every country speak a different language but most internet gamers can read and write in english. This make something like a irc interface the best comunication. The rest are implementation details like fonts, colours, ability to resize the channel, filter, etc… That are standard in all mmos. If you invent something better than text, people will move to it and stop writting books, newspapers and so on. Theres nothing best than text ATM.

My spoils from my latest run of the last quest in Act I of Inferno (which takes about 30minutes): http://i.imgur.com/vMUjI.jpg

Only about a quarter were level 60 and worth selling on the AH and that’s not taking into account almost 2 bags of blues I sold. :D

I tried out Act II of Inferno again earlier after I had purchased a few upgrades for my Barb and…it’s hard, really, really hard. I was able to barely scrape past the mobs without dying, but I lasted no longer than 5 seconds when I found my first champion mob. OMG the damage they do is INSANE.

I feel like I’m going from Nightmare to Hell mode on my Barbarian times about 10 because even the normal mobs are taking all I got to come out of it alive and even then if I get swamped by too many it’s over. This coming from a Barbarian that considers Act I of Inferno EASY.

It seems like the only strategy is to get ridiculously geared up or kite them and wack away at them for 20 minutes. Neither option seems too appealing at the moment…

Although gear makes a big difference in surviving act 2 inferno, I found that optimizing my spec made the biggest impact on being able to survive.

All my passives are defensive, 3 of my abilites are from the defensive category, 1 for movement, and all Runes are defense oriented. A lot of builds I see posted in the official Forums have 4 defensive abilities.

Yeah, I already have a mostly defensive build. The two armor passives and the Relentless passive that helps you survive better below 20% health and then War Cry + resistance rune and Leap + armor rune.

Beyond that I don’t know. I guess I could change my primary/secondary to life-stealing and turn my Beszerker rune into increased dodge, but I have my doubts that will be enough.

I do think I will need to ditch my 2-hander and go with a 1-hander and shield for Act II, but it’s going to cost a lot to get a 1-hander that has at least 700 DPS and I will definitely need a solid shield.

ROTFLAMO!

Good. Either D3 is a product, in which case they can follow those laws, or a service, in which case they can follow those laws. Not mix-and-match the best of each for Blizzard!

Right, I can’t see any reason why Blizzard should be allowed to deny refunds when they require you to be always on to play. They can’t have the best of both worlds…

I’m probably going to retire my monk temporarily until it is more inferno viable or I have a character class that can better farm gear for the monk.

What class is the least gear dependent / works best in inferno? I’m guessing its either DH or wizard?

Why should they be obliged to give refunds to people after they have used the service? They aren’t trying to have their cake and eat it too as far as I can see, since they actually are providing an ongoing service.

I have a very solid barbarian spec that works very well in Hell. Hell is pretty much a cake-walk for me, but I get killed by almost all blue packs in in Inferno mode. I haven’t even gotten the crown yet due to the fact that once I get past that bridge I will run into one or two blue packs and then I am stuck.

I am wondering if it is just a gear problem or if my spec will really need to change for inferno. I may give up my Leap for charge with the life steal for each enemy hit. It could kind of be defensive, but I am not sure how easily Ill be able to use it to get out of danger (I do not want to charge into another horde of mobs because I am facing the wrong way).

I may also give up my rabbit’s foot for that one that reduces damage taken at 20% health. Maybe these will help. My current barb specs are about 40k health, 17k DPS and 60% DR via armor. I was using a shield with with 130 str and 90 vit, but it is fairly old and only blocks for like 1k at most. I had been using a 550 dps with 350 life per hit 1-hander. I recently got an 880 dps with 650 life per hit 2h weapon. My DPS went from 11k to 17k. I think it will help my survivability despite the loss of the shield and slower attack speed.

Most people seem to agree that DH is the most viable class in Inferno without appropriate gear. But that’s just based on hours of forum reading and the amount of videos posted where DHs are doing quite well without top-level gear.

That said, I suspect all classes are very viable when they’re geared - and melee is potentially the best, because they will eventually be able to survive direct confrontation - which the ranged classes probably never will, as their gear isn’t designed for it.

Very funny. The reason they want a refunding is because they service they sold didn’t work.

In any sane legal system on the universe, when you buy a product of service, you are free to return if it not work, or comes damage in some way.

We don’t know the korean legal system. I think in UK just saying “I am not happy with the product” is enough, you don’t have to prove anything (I am right here?), perhaps the korean system have a similar balance consumer rights/producers rights.

In similar line, and in defense of Blizzar is very probablERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!ERROR 37!

My monk is doing fine in hell too, just in inferno I get wrecked by most yellow/blues.

Those stats seem OK for act i Inferno. What build are you using? Also, what are your resists?

In contrast, Act I of Inferno is a cakewalk to my Barbarian and Hell is just boring. My DPS is only 12k, so I’m guessing you have way more strength than me since I have a 1000 DPS weapon. I also have 60k health, putting much more focus on vitality.

Are you using Revenge with the Provocation rune? That procs like crazy when you get hit and both heals and does damage. You should constantly be pressing that button.

Secondly, War Cry with the Hardened Wrath rune can significantly increase your armor. You should be aiming for around 10k armor after that buff. The Impunity is also a great rune if you have tons of resistance gear.

Third, the Enchantress has an ability that boosts your armor by 15%, consider using her for that alone.

Lastly, make sure that when you engage the champion/elites to focus fire on a single minion and just go all out on them. If you can get one of them down within 5-10 seconds, it will greatly increase your survivability. I use Wrath of the Berserker with the Insanity rune to achieve this.

You also need an ability to get you out of harm’s way fast and I believe Leap, Sprint, and Furious Charge all do this well. Just go with whatever works for you. Remember to always move away from plagued, lasers, and desecration and if they have fire chains don’t let them surround you.

Hope that helps.

Yes I have revenge with provocation. I am using the enchantress for those buffs as well. I am using warcry, but I am using the life regen rune, Ill have to see about the armor one.

Normal mobs in Inferno are fine, it is just those blue groups that own me. I do try and kill one, but they kill me super fast. Revenge doesn’t help much with the blue guys because there are only 3 of them and depending on what kind of mobs they are, they tend to not all be in melee with me.

My resists suck, but I am using the best gear I can find in any case. I can’t see resists being easy to get since there are so many kinds to get. It would be hard enough to get one or two really high let alone all of them. Sure, getting the perfect gear might do that, but that is what Inferno mode is all about.

Yeah, if they’re killing you that fast then you simply need more armor as I was in the same predicament when I made the transition from Nightmare to Hell difficulty. The only elites that do any damage to me are the ones that hit like a truck (dark bezerkers, the big hulks, and to a lesser extent the charging bull things).

As for resists, you really only need to find gear that has all resistances or just physical resistance, don’t even bother with the others. I’ve got my physical up to 400 and everything else at over 200.

Oh look, my single player game is down. Again.

Since I can’t play the game now, I have used the time waiting for the servers with gimp. Composing a few images from the Internets…

lol version

For Act 1 you can get by on the cheap focusing on just physical resist, with fire probably being the next most important. All-resist commands a HUGE premium on the AH (and the be clear, the AH is where gear comes from for Inferno), although justifiably so.
