With that being said…it doesn’t look good. And it is from a guy who’d probably have the sources to say that.
Politico reports that the President has been briefed on the shooting. Putting everything else aside: when POTUS is briefed on something like this (when it is deemed of import to brief him) it is usually a bad sign.

Typically the report of multiple shooters turns out to be erroneous. Apparently not this time.
EDIT: and yep, on cue, this is erroneous, and a misstatement by police. Single shooter believed responsible, is in custody.
