was this already posted?

Williams was arrested last Thursday, after a brief hospital stay by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI for allegedly making false statements to a firearms dealer.

Yup - dealing with that now as well.

‘Left-wing terrorist’

‘All political extremes are crazy’

You can almost hear the relief in their words that they don’t have to confront the realities of their political beliefs

And of course there is a Haberman story that appears tied to the headline

I imagine this has been posted a few times already, but just in case…if you haven’t seen this, you need to watch it.

I hadn’t. Thank you.

His ending remark, about how important it seems to be for some to be white, reminds me a little about this older article…

From Vox’s: Why Video Games aren’t Causing America’s Gun Problem, in One Chart

Japan being at the bottom of that list for per capita video game revenue is the only thing shocking about that data—the gun deaths are as expected.

What is with that rev? Do all Japanese pirate their games? I would have thought they would have been right after S. Korea.

Ha, that was my first thought as well. To an outsider it seems like Japan is the Land Of Video Games.

Japan has also one of the highest aging population, so maybe this is the reason?

The newzoo numbers I looked at seemed to say otherwise, unless I’m using my calculator wrong.

Thanks for posting that.

Wow, this is some chart.

The US is more dangerous than Afghanistan. It’s more dangerous than Iraq. It’s more dangerous than Syria.

Edit: Note that these stats filter out combat deaths, so perhaps not as shocking as it seems at first glance. But you’d expect high rates of non-combat gun deaths in weak states awash in guns, and the US is still worse.

Late to the party, but related to the above is the very real chance of litigation against the networks if they show a US person’s body.

Your graphic is telling. Not sure if US are more dangerous, but gun regulation is not present and people love to bear their arms.

Pod Save America’s Jon Lovett ought to run for office, I think. He’s got a good bit here about the shootings (link is timestamped, he speaks after a tee-up).

Stop raising mass murderers, ladies.

Christ. Grifters, top to bottom.

That’s only a tiny part of it. I should make a post.

Eh, not sure it’s worth it.
