The tiny gun should shoot other guns as bullets.

Young man, it’s guns all the way down.

More victims of America’s ready-access to guns. Boone, North Carolina: An hours-long standoff leaves 5 dead, including two deputies - CNN
RIP to the victims, including the LEOs. Yes, other jobs in America are more dangerous, but at least for me, there’s a difference between deadly threats through accidents than there is to death from the malice of others. I couldn’t be a LEO (nor would I want my kids to be), but we obviously need them. I appreciate the good cops out there, trying to do their job for themselves and for the rest of us.

Really? A logging worker is about 7x more likely to die on the job than a police officer. You’d rather be a logging worker because accidental death is preferable to homicide? At what point does the risk become too high?
I’ve chosen to be neither, and I try to appreciate both. But yes, I think it’s inevitable that people think differently about threats from accidents versus threats from other humans. I suspect we’re wired that way. I’m nearly certain the family of those who are murdered (both by LEOs and those who kill LEOs) think differently about those deaths than say, a logging accident or car.

Sorry, NRA, you don’t get to file for bankruptcy to avoid litigation in New York.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.
Not very bright guys with guns. Not…the best mix.
Maybe this thread should be retitled “all purpose inevitable weekly^H^H^H^H^Hdaily^H^H^H^Hhourly shooting thread”
Not John Kasich. Someone told me he was a pretty good dude!
I feel like all those old Westerns implied that the lack of law was a bad thing, but I guess a lot of us are trying to legislate our way back to that.

I know, grim, but if ever there was a thread for gallows humor.
Many places in the old West had laws forbidding guns inside the city / town, in places like Tombstone.
