Well it doesn’t hurt to be extra cautious, and I generally know what drivers to be wary of and which to seek. I just was so pleasantly surprised. Even compared to Win 7 it was just so smooth. And if you can get up and running with Internet, you don’t even need the old crap they shipped anyway. You can get the new ones.
Yeah, Windows 10 does a lot of things right, and installation of the OS itself is for sure one of them.
I don’t mind them (for business use, mind) and I vastly prefer them to HP or Lenovo’s business offerings.
Deauthorize/uninstall licenses for any games/apps that require it.
After the debacle with the SSD refurb issue on mine, the Alienware, laptop, has been kicking nicely for a few years now. I wouldn’t be to hesitant to do Alienware again. I wouldn’t pay a dime for their support though.
