My brother is saying the 6 Pro is already sold out on Google’s store. That seems weird. You’d think they’d take as many pre-orders as they could, just give you a different ship date depending on when you order in the line.
Seems no one wants the Black color, that was the last to sell out on the Pro. There’s still some configurations left on the Pixel 6 (color and HD space).
So the main difference between the two seems to be you get 4x optimal zoom on the 6 Pro’s camera, and a better screen? Is that it?
I wasn’t expecting $599 for the Pixel 6, after all the talk about premium pricing. Be interesting to see if they have a Black Friday deal on it with Google Fi.
With chip shortages still in effect? I doubt there will be much of a deal on Black Friday this year.

Checking the Google Fi store, they’re offering the Pixel Buds A Series headphones for free with either the 6 or 6 Pro. Looks like those are $100 on their own. Ouch. So I guess that’s a good value add?
From looking up reviews though, the Pixel Buds don’t have active noise cancellation like the Galaxy Buds and others do.
Managed to secure a Pixel 6 non-pro with free pixel buds which is pretty cool.

I was thinking “Sorta Seafoam”. On the other hand, the black one is the only one where I could double the room on the phone for $100 extra.

That’s what I ordered but it got cancelled, managed to reorder the black one with an early December delivery date but that’s fine, better than nothing. Hopefully doesn’t get cancelled as well.

I agree, but had an iPhone 12 gathering dust, so it was only about $450 after trade-in.
Nice $310 for me after my S20 FE 5G trade-in that I got for only $80 with a trade in of my old Pixel 3A XL.
Checked my Pixel 3 trade in value, a massive $35. :(
Glad I’m not in the frustration of wait lists and online order bombing for the Pixel 6, although I do expect to get one sometime in the next year.
I recently treated myself to a Tic Watch Pro 3 Ultra (what a mouthful). I don’t quite want a full time smart watch, so the essential mode with 45 days of battery life was a big sell. But I sometimes want a smart watch, specifically when I’m on my daily jog/walk and would prefer to leave my phone at home, but still listen to music on headphones. And I want fitness tracking with heart rate/GPS, but don’t want to shell out Garmin levels of money for something top of the line there. This seemed like a good compromise all around - I’m finding it ticks all those boxes in the first few days, although will see how usage and especially battery life are after a few weeks, as I have 30 to return or not.

I battled through the extremely frustrating google purchasing experience (multiple errors, deletion of carts, in and out of stock. etc), but ended up with the one I wanted (Black Pro, 256g) with a 10/27 delivery date, go figure…
Weird. I tried loading that Black Pro 256g a million times but it kept saying it couldn’t load my cart, so I finally gave up.
