Whoops, I read the turnip thing wrong. My spike is this morning but it’s only 252. I’m happy to open up if anyone wants, but I would imagine Indyls will have a better deal tomorrow.

So I’ve uploaded my island dream if anyone wants to check it out. It’s DA-8211-0426-0006.

You can update your dream once per day (just like in New Leaf) but I think your dream address never changes. If that’s the case, maybe @ArmandoPenblade might want to add a column to the player list for dream addresses. (Should probably confirm tomorrow whether that address changes or not before going to that trouble.)

@Kadath, awesome, glad you came! I thought in New Leaf you could ask Luna how many people had dreamed of your island, but she doesn’t seem to have any such dialog here, which is too bad.

I like the dream visits because you can take your time, poking around at everything, and not worry that you’re being an inconvenience to the host, hehe. And it’s much more interesting in New Horizons because of much expanded customization of everyone’s islands, since you couldn’t really decorate outdoors in New Leaf, outside of a few specific public works projects.

Also, I like the the dream settings use the bed that you actually slept in. Being there in Luna’s dream world in my purple rose bed looked perfect, hehe.

It is not automatic, you will need to update whenever you change, but moreover, you are limited to only being able to update it once per day. (Though I can’t think why someone would need to update several times in one day.)

One thing I learned from reading the reddit thread of dream codes is that since Luna empties your inventory when you dream, people should leave a set of tools out for visiting dreamers to use, specifically ladders and vaulting poles, especially if you have areas only accessible be either of those.

Supposedly you can also dig things up and whatever (which doesn’t affect the real island) but I’m unclear whether you actually get to keep things you dig up/pick up? I assume not.

Anyway, I’ll update my dream tomorrow with tools available, though the only place you can’t get to on my island without tools is Redd’s beach (which requires a ladder).

It’s kinda inspired me to do some of the same by Redd’s beach. I hate that I still need a ladder to get there.

Yeah, it’s kinda hassle to need a ladder to get down there, but I don’t think I’d be happy with the amount of terraforming I’d have to do just to make a path leading there. So I’ll probably just leave it as is. It’s not like Redd comes frequently enough that I need to get down there a lot. ;) At least you can see Redd’s beach from the cliff above, so you can see what I’ve put down there, hehe.
