Crazy numbers. On the one hand, I’m not surprised… Animal Crossing has long been one of Nintendo’s best loved franchises, and I expected it to do well. But I do wonder how much of that success is due to the pandemic. It’s now sold twice as many copies as New Leaf did, but is that also because the Switch is doing better than the 3DS?

Still, happy to the see the success, because it hopefully means still more Animal Crossing in the future.
