The coolers just show your wardrobe, meaning all clothing items from your house.

I learned the other day that when someone visits your island and uses one of your wardrobe items, they don’t see they’re own wardrobe (which is what I assumed would have happened) but they see any of your wand costumes that you may have created. (I haven’t confirmed this firsthand myself, but a friend who visited my island used my wardrobe and said all he saw was my wand costumes.)
I don’t actually know if you can equip that costume, I don’t think he tried.
Yeah, it shows one of your wand costumes at random, but not with any kind of interface where you can put the clothes on. It just goes, “Huh…just what I expected!” and then flashes up pictures of the clothing items.
By the way, you can also do that with your villagers! Go into their house and try to open a closet or chest of drawers; you’ll get a picture of some of their clothing items.

Yeah, I discovered that recently! Thought it was pretty awesome to see a bunch of the clothes I’d gifted them. It’s made me want to gift wardrobe type furniture to all my residents that don’t currently have one, but I need to make sure I find the right one (that matches their decor).
Celeste is on my island watching the meteor shower. Highest point in the northeast (top right :) ) - bring a ladder!

Thanks for opening @Calelari! I visited and saw Celeste, but it turns out you can’t actually get another recipe from her on the same day… she wouldn’t give me one, presumably because she’d already given me one on my own island. So I guess no help there for @Editer in the quest for a Lunar Module. (Though you’re welcome to come by and double check just in case.)
I did give Saharah a large pile of bells though, and also got to check in with my girl Penelope who was ecstatic to see me, so that was nice. <3
Anyway, now I’m back at Isla Calma, and am now open with 1G2T4 for anyone who might miss Calelari’s island (if he closes soon). I’ll be open for a bit, not sure how long.

Oh darn! Yeah, she wasn’t at home when I saw her! I did speak to her on the beach. One day I’ll get to see the interior of her real house, hehe. ;)

Yep, I discovered a while back that Celeste only gives one recipe a day. And the day I found out, it was visiting her on an insanely busy island where it took me 10-15 minutes just to get to her because of all of the coming and going. (The multiplayer design of AC is just absurdly bad when it comes to new players coming in and out.)

It really is. Honestly, Nintendo is bad at online/multiplayer stuff in general… it’s always way more convoluted than it needs to be. I just don’t understand it.
There’s always a lot of hooplah about protecting children from negative interactions, but I think it mostly comes from a corporate culture that doesn’t see the point and isn’t interested in hiring or listening to people who do.

Just a couple of screenshots I took last night while Celeste was in town. She was hanging out in my newly renovated garden - this was previously the area I was using to breed blue roses, and now that area is much smaller since I’m in the “duplicating” phase of it - so it was nice to see her hanging out there. She’s too adorable to not photograph. <3

So I know most people (myself included) don’t care much about Kicks visiting, but I happened to look at his stock today, and he has Imp Wings (a backpack item) in stock for Halloween! He has white and orange.
I can’t open up right at the moment, but I can arrange to open later today or this evening if anyone is interested. Or, if we’re friends and you’ve visited my island, I’d be happy to mail some to you. I also expect before October is over everyone will have Kicks visiting their island with these same items as well.
But let me know if you’d like to come visit later today and see him!
