She was on the beach just to the left of the airport. She seems to like beaches. :)

So how did everyone enjoy the Halloween event? I thought it was a lot of fun, and I’m pretty sure I got all the available items because I was loaded up on candy. I do have some duplicate items available if anyone wasn’t able to take part and was interested in them. I have the following available:
- Jack’s robe (x2) (Pictured here with the pumpkin head)
- Jack’s pumpkin head (x2)
- Spooky flooring (x2)
- Spooky wall (x2)
- Spooky Tower DIY
- Spooky Standing Lamp DIY
The Spooky Flooring is actually quite cool looking and would look good even if it wasn’t Halloween. The wall is more in-your-face Halloween, but still pretty cool looking.
If anyone wants any of these things, give me a shout and we can arrange to meet up.
I thought the event was delightful, though I am traumatized by accidentally talking to one of my villagers while dressed as Jack and scaring the bejeezus out of her :(

Lol, I didn’t know that was a thing! I didn’t put on the Jack costume all night so that didn’t happen to me. :(
I did get “tricked” a few times just to see what would happen, and ended up with some perfect green face paint with scars that happened to go well with my witchy costume. I know I could have had the green face paint myself from using a mirror, but the scars were “custom” designs apparently that couldn’t be accessed, so that was neat.
The best part though was Tangy, Skye and Pashmina (new to my island as of a few days ago) all hanging out in the plaza doing scary and haunt emotes at each other for half the evening, hehe. They’re so adorable!
Aw, I only wore the robe so I didn’t get to scare any of my residents.
I missed out on two recipes, I believe; after 40+ candies and lollipops the event wore out for me. Didn’t get the one for the lantern with hay bale or the one for the candy laid out on the placemat.
I’ve a couple duplicate items I could part with - Spooky Rug x2, Jack’s robe x2. I don’t seem to have a duplicate recipes.

That’s awesome. I was prepared to hate Tangy but she’s great. I’ve 3d printed a few of the villagers and Blathers. maybe I will do Tangy next.
Me too! I found her orange pitted skin a bit weird at first, but she really grew on me.
Haha, yeah, I got all the Halloween stuff. I had a triplicate of Jack’s head so I thought I’d give one to a villager to see if they would wear it but no-go. Sad. I did have fun startling them while wearing Jack’s outfit and getting candy in return, but I felt bad so made sure that I gave them all back any candy I gained.
Was definitely amusing seeing the villagers emoting at each other over and over. After I had my face changed a couple times by tricks, I settled on the same green face with scars for my zombie outfit (I was already green, just missing the scars).
But alas, the after-Halloween clean up of the island was a slog, as my inventory and storage were both filled up. I ended up selling most of the non-unique Halloween items; it’s doubtful I’ll be at it a year from now and won’t need to keep the items around, after all.
How’re people finding the November switch over? I found a couple new crabs in the ocean, and hunted down that mole cricket which was tricky to catch in my very crowded island.

Isabel says I will have shooting stars tonight. If any one is interested I will open up in an hour or so.
Do shooting stars guarantee Celeste? I haven’t seen her but don’t know if she is around.

No, I don’t think she’s guaranteed to appear during a meteor shower, though there’s usually a good chance of it. If she’s going to come though, she won’t show up until 7:00 PM, so if it’s not 7:00 pm or later on your island yet, you’re not going to find her. I’d do a bit of a run around your island after 7:00 (after going into a building and coming back out… I don’t think she’ll just spawn if you’re outdoors when the clock hits 7.)
I don’t need any stars at the moment, but I would be interested in visiting Celeste if you do find her!
