I don’t think “out of date” applies here…or “quicker”, for that matter. They are two different methods to get to the same Blue flower offspring. The one I posted is four steps, with a 95% chance of success in less than 47 days. The one you posted has six steps, plus a seventh step that requires you to test your flowers to make sure they’re genetically correct. I’m not sure that it’s quicker, but it definitely seems like a lot more work. But yes, by the end you do get roses that have a 25% chance of creating a Blue.

@Andy_Bates I must be missing something then, I apologize. The way it reads to me in the roses section is you have a 1/45 chance of getting a blue rose with that method in 66 days. I don’t see where it says you have a 95% chance of success in 47 days.
EDIT: I should also mention that I used the same method from the doc you posted and that @Knightsaber used. I wasn’t going to start over either when I read that. And I just got my blue rose this morning! So take that for what you will.

Fingers crossed. My prices continue their downward trend and my forecast is now higher chance of continued decreasing over a large spike… I’m at 51% decreasing over about 42% large spike, so not promising here.

I went from 80% chance of failing to 100% chance of large spike this afternoon as well, so between me and @Scotch_Lufkin QT3 should be set this afternoon =)

It’s good, my max is 546 which would be fantastic, but it’s as low as 182. Well, that’s actually exactly double (91) what I paid for my turnips, I just realized, so I guess I can’t complain about any number it ends up being. Still, double the chance of a big spike between the two of us should make an easy time for everyone.

Edit: I sold a chunk of my turnips at @soondifferent’s island, and I may wait to sell the rest when I see what other people’s prices spike at this afternoon. The offer is still open if someone wants to pull the trigger at 369 though.
