BTW, with all this turnip talk, I thought I’d share my turnip storage “system”. I give you… Turnip Diner!
We’ve got Turnip Pie, Turnip Smoothies, Turnip Burgers, Turnip Omelets, Turnip…
And the Jukebox is playing “K.K. Turnip.” (Okay, it isn’t, because that’s not a song. It’s playing “Bubblegum K.K.”
Anyone that wants to come be a laborer, er, concentration ca… um, water flowers can drop by.
I think I only need 2 people to do it, I’m not sure, I’ll be able to tell you that if 2 people do it. :)
I’ll drop 3 watering cans for you (brand shiny new).

Edit: I will also lead you to the flowers, of course.

I tried a couple times but it said your console wasn’t responding. Maybe something with my firewall being a bit strict.
I’ve never heard of such a thing.

looks like this image I stole of the internet:

Well, Hansey is here, so I assure you my console is responding :)

Yeah, I don’t think it’s on your side at all. I have a rather over the top firewall setup due to getting some free commercial class stuff when my work upgraded. I will have to sort it out another day.
No worries, I just need someone else to pop up sooner or later.

So @Knightsaber, when I was popping in on all your residents, I came across Opal, who used to be on my island. I can’t remember when was the first time you visited my island, but I think my Opal left me to go to yours, because when I visited her on your island, she remembered me!
I’ve heard that when one of your residents moves out, they can sometimes decide to move to anyone’s island who has visited them previously, so I wonder if that’s what happened here? Maybe all former residents no matter where you encounter them will say things like that, I dunno. I know current residents don’t do that (because that would be weird).
When Opal came she wasn’t a choice, I had a spot open for a day and then there she was. You might be right.
Yeah, it’s basically a question of: Do you want to come up with a precise algorithm to generate the correct result 25% of the time? Or do you want to use the brute-force method and breed as many roses as possible, so that you have a much higher chance of hitting that 6.25% on one of them?
And of course that’s the real answer: Once you have a blue rose, no matter how you got it, you can now get an infinite number of blue roses. Since blue roses all have the same genes, they will always generate new blue roses. Blue roses, black roses, black lilies, green mums, basically all the purple flowers…once you have any of those, you can plant them in a field and they will just make more of themselves.
My endgame for flower production is to just plant the rare varieties up in the hills as I find them, so they can propogate and make more of themselves. Oh, and a field of purple flowers in front of my house, because that’s what I really want.
In the first Animal Crossing game for the Gamecube, you could visit someone else’s town by borrowing their memory card. You put your town in Slot 1, their town in Slot 2, and you can go visit. But what they didn’t tell you was that after every visit, you would come back and find one of your own villagers had left to go to the new town. Theoretically that could lead to a situation where someone’s best friend Tank left their town for good and never returned. Theoretically.

Yeah. Even in New Leaf, you at least had a chance to stop a villager from leaving, but there was still some risk… if you didn’t talk to the villager that was thinking about moving on that day, you’d never get the chance the convince them to stay, and would just get a letter in the mail from them after they left.
They’ve fixed that now though, since you basically have to give permission for anyone to leave now, so if someone goes, it was with your blessing.
Wait, I just realized our islands are the island from “The Prisoner”. :o

Scott, any chance you’ll be open again tonight? My wife sold my turnips but forgot hers. If not, no problem
I can open up, no big deal. Waiting for paint to dry anyway. Hang on…
Okay, code is NGNG0

Awesome, thank you. She got them sold.
@Knightsaber are you still needing another waterer? If so, is there a dodo code? I’m available now.
