At this point, my son is getting a little anxious about Celeste. We haven’t had a meteor shower yet, and Taurus season is ending (I believe) in May 21. Has anyone else had a meteor shower lately? We’ve been having a lot of rain.

I heard Isabelle will tell you in the morning if you’re getting a meteor shower that night but I don’t know if that’s accurate.
Yeah, I never wound up getting a full meteor shower (and mostly play at night) this Zodiac season. The gf and I just slowly ground out Taurus pieces staring up at the sky on clear nights and getting 3-4 every 20 minutes or so.
I had one back in early April. Celeste did visit my island once since then, but there were not shooting stars. She talked about them but I didn’t see or hear any the entire time I was playing.

I’ve had 4-5 meteor showers in the last month. In one of them, I was able to get about 35 star fragments and some Taurus fragments in about 10 min of looking at the sky (then collecting the next day).
How many of those were announced in the weather forecast?
If you have any spare Taurus fragments after crafting your recipes, I would love to buy them for you for well above a reasonable price!
Meteor showers? Zodiac fragments? So much I have yet to learn about the game.

Oh I love this part of the game! Some nights, Blathers’ sister Celeste will visit and teach you star recipes. Twinkling shooting stars will fall occasionally during very clear nights and can be “gathered” by panning the camera out to a clear view of the northern sky, holding nothing in your hands, and pressing “A” when the stars go flying to make a wish. On Meteor Shower nights, this goes from “maybe a couple of stars an hour at most” to “holy fuck the heavens are collapsing call Doctor Who stat”
The next day, star fragments wash up on your shores for each wish you made. You can use them to craft the crazy recipes Celeste teaches you. During each Zodiac season, special fragments fall that can be made into awesome Zodiac-themed furniture.

I only found out by bumping into Celeste at night. I rarely get to play before 10:30pm and I’m usually pretty groggy by then.
I gave them all to my daughters, I’m afraid!
Looks like my turnip pricing is fluctuating this week. The highest possible prince is 135. Hope ya’ll have better luck than me!
I’m on track for Fluctuating this week too, so it’s not looking good.
I’m currently around 60% odds for a big spike, and my starting price (105) is a good multiplier, so here’s to hoping :)
I have a 50/50 chance at a large spike or a total drop, so that’s fantastic.
I’m not sure if I would classify my last week as Fluctuating or Decrease, but either way, I have good odds for a big spike this week too.

Last week I only made a small profit. This week I sunk B270K into Turnips and really hope to get a decent price so I can fund some ramps.
I’m at 100% “small spike” forecast now (153 to 220). Well, it’s better than descending…
