What do OP and ED stand for?
Opening and Ending, aka the intro and outro of an episode.
Great Pretender would like a word
It’s a little too Bepop inspired, but it’s good too, or did you mean the ED?
Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken made it onto the New York Times best shows of 2020 list, as well as best international shows, so some recognition outside anime circles. Made The New Yorker’s list too.
I loved that damn show. I was totally convinced they were real people and it was (auto-) biographical.
And in the WTF category, someone in Japan decided that what the world really needed was to mix cute anime girls with lesbian undertones with Stalker / A roadside picnic.
It’s called Urasekai Picnic.
Think about it. Someone approved this idea, a company gave budget to it…

You’re directing that disbelief toward a reality in which Girls und Panzer already exists.
Cute anime girls with lesbian undertones is just anime for “fast tracked to production”.
Hey, don’t knock it just because it’s different.
Two of the better series I have watched in 2020 have been Jujutsu Kaisen, which at times it’s a bit too shonen typical for me, but a good work in direction, animation and always having some heart on it elevates it.
The other one is Golden Kamuy, whose third season has been great, deepening several secondary characters, sometimes with their own flashback origin stories, some were very good.
I just added both of those to my watchlist last night, thanks for posting here I’ll scoot them up the order.
What service are they on? Crunchyroll?
Otagan

They should both be on CR, yeah.
Jujutsu Kaisen is on HBO Max too I believe.
I was a little disappointed in Golden Kumuy season 3, they do the thing where they split the characters up into different groups, plus all the flashbacks were for me a bit much.
For some reason I feel like jumping back into Anime, so I’d love to subscribe to VRV for a month and binge lots of stuff again like I did last summer. But I really should wait. Attack on Titan’s airing its final season right now, and there’s still two episodes left. I still have to decide if I want to switch back to the Japanese cast. In this case I find the English cast so much better, but an English dub is probably months away.
I’ll have to go through the last few months of this thread and round up your recommendations.
Well, Eizouken is indeed amazing
After catching up to episode 99 of Hunter X Hunter on HBO Max, I broke down and bought the Blu-ray sets for the rest of the series. I’ve watched through the end of the Chimera Ant arc and am in the final Election arc now.
Nice! All in English voice over, I’m assuming?
