If Kanamoney doesn’t win best girl something is wrong with the universe.

By the way, I’ve never heard of this anime, but +1 for the long title describing the whole premise of the show. LOL.

I made a thread for it to try and bring it to the attention of the non-anime watchers as it’s that good.

Yes! The blu-rays have the dub and the original Japanese with subs. I’m watching with English voices, of course.

Amen!

Ah, Beastars is really good too

I tried to watch Beastars, but as it became increasingly focused on how bad this huge wolf wants to have sex with this tiny bunny, I had to stop.

It’s actually about the wolf learning to overcome his toxic masculinity. It’s pretty dark.

Beastars was really good but yeah, lots of bunny sex stuff involved. Really can’t deny that.

This is actually pretty common lately, especially with isekai titles.

They’re on episode 6 out of 16.

Funimation just started the English dub, so I think they have episode 1 dubbed while the sub is airing episode 6 this Sunday. And I think the whole dub will go to Hulu sometime after all the dubbed episodes are out.

The show doesn’t focus enough in that, imo. Hmph.

The Strudio Trigger movie Promare got added to HBO Max, it’s the dub, which is decent, and that’s good because trying to watch this with subtitles seems less than ideal with how much stuff is constantly going on visually. It starts out as basically Fire Force but turns into FLCLxGurren Lagann by the end.

Anime stuff post:

  • I liked Talentless nana, for what it was.
  • Enjoyed Akudama Drive
  • Re:Zero is soo good, is like a separate genre from anime, even if feels like stretching and celebrating
  • Finnaly a good anime have a character so disgusting vile watching it is a huge turn off

Not sure which anime you mean that has a vile character - do you mean RE Zero?

I figured at first that he was talking about Redo of Healer, but I’m not sure if he meant “good” in an “overall high quality” way (which it absolutely is not) or in an “it’s a good example of a series with an utterly reprehensible main character” way.

nope, other isekai, the just released the #3 episode

Ah, Mushoku Tensei was going to be my second guess. The main character’s a bad person but not as awful as the other one (which, now that I think about it for more than a few seconds, isn’t actually an isekai character).

Uh, the 4th season of Attack of Titans is very good.
Stoped watching this serie a long time, I see it has progressed in quality and character development, but this final serie deliver in narrative quality. Looking forward for the next episode. …In 6 days

Nice! I’m really really looking forward to that.

Has anyone else seen this one? I started watching this on HBO Max this weekend. After 3 and a half episodes, I’m not really feeling it.

Back in the 90s, there was a very amusing movie I saw at the dollar theater: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was clever and amusing. But then they made a TV show based off it. I saw the pilot episode, and I just didn’t care for it at all. I own the whole show on DVD, but I can’t get past that pilot episode. Everything’s fairly cheesy, the writing’s not great, the acting isn’t great. The main plot doesn’t draw me in. There’s a teacher interacting with Buffy and the other students as part of the vampire hunting club.

Anyway, Jujutsu Kaisen reminds of that Buffy the Vampire Slayer pilot so far. Not a good association for me.
