Were you traumatized by stuffed animals as a child?
Went thru Odd Taxi in about 2 days. Thought it was great, actually neatly written film noir-esque story with talking animals. There’s nothing particularly not accessible…maybe knowing a bit about manzai and idol business.
First episode is on youtube and the entire series on crunchyroll.

Fruit Basket’s MC is a wonderful character. I happen to enjoy watching the show with my daughter. Who will she end up with? The mouse or the cat? My daughter loves it for the overarcing romance.
There are a bunch of romances going on. I do like this version over the older one though not sure why. I guess the artwork/animation is better.
Thanks for pointing this one out. It has killer ratings on mal and I’m going to be starting it soon.
Just finished So I’m a Spider, So What? and… I’m really on the fence. It’s isekai through and through and all of those tropes are present. The story doesn’t make a ton of sense but there are mysteries right from the beginning but they also aren’t afraid to resolve stuff. There are probably 3 other isekai I could list off the top of my head that I think are better than this one, but it has its charms. I think the weakest part were the human story elements, but listening to the chatter on the mal forums and reddit, it looks like the anime botched that part of the light novel. It also ends in the middle of a giant happening, completely unresolved. I’m on the fence about going to read the light novels or just letting it go altogether, because I think they aren’t planning a season 2.
Also, there is some really, really bad 3d animation. Like, really truly bad. I have a high tolerance for this stuff since I hardly pay attention to the animation over the story but it stood out so much that I couldn’t help notice.
If you need something to watch, it’s fine. That’s my recommendation. :)
Most of the worst of the worst 3d are the creatures, especially the dragons and these weird monkey things, but even the people go 3d in some scenes and it is mostly like this:

Watched SSSS Gridman which is pretty decent mix of series plot and Kaiju of the week. It’s kind of a blend of Ultraman and Power Rangers, and yes it’s a sequel of sorts to the live action show of the 90s but you don’t need any familiarity with that.
I watched Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out.
It seems that there’s a genre of anime about being publicly humiliated by an attractive woman. (this, Nagatoro, Teasing Master Takagi san). Not my kink, TBH, but I figured I should watch one of them.
I wouldn’t really recommend it, but I did watch the whole season. It has some ecchi vibes from, e.g. the character designs, but it doesn’t really do all that much in that direction, aside from the occasional double entendre based jokes, and some sort of de rigeur accidental boob grabbing. It’s not even particularly notable from a fan service perspective. It’s mostly just a run of the mill wacky relationship-comedy. More PG-13 sex comedy than softcore porn. I get the impression (based on nothing) that the manga might have leaned harder into the sexual content? Pleasant and weightless overall.
Funimation has such a bad app on Apple TV. I haven’t tried it on other platforms, but I certainly hope that now that Sony’s purchase of Crunchyroll is finalized, maybe they can be included in Crunchyroll apps or VRV, instead of Crunchyroll coming to the horrible Funimation app.
Funimation is garbage on every device I’ve used it on. Even avoiding the lousy app by streaming from a web browser I’ve had issues with random episodes just not working or freezing. It’s by far the worst streaming service I’ve ever subscribed to.
Crunchroll apps aren’t exactly great either though.
Both will eventually become one service, the app/name remains to be seen.
Also some rumors there may be a version of PS+ that includes it.
I haven’t tried Crunchyroll but I love the VRV app. That’s how I get Crunchyroll. VRV is great on Apple tv, Xbox and my phone.
When I used VRV on Roku I thought it was total garbage.
I wonder if VRV was even part of that deal.
From what I can tell it was included as Crunchroll owned VRV. I wouldnt be surprised if it gets phased out/shutdown, like what is on it these days besides anime? They lost Shudder and other stuff that made it interesting a while back.
Are you sure of that? I thought VRV was owned by Elation, just like Crunchyroll
Because everything on Wikipedia is always true?
They work, which is more than I can say for Funimation a lot of the time.
The Evangelion Rebuild movies, including the final one, are available in Amazon Prime tv. It just released after many years waiting.

In defense of I’m a Spider, is only a few scenes, and even on the episodes that have it, theres other reasons to watch it. So it seems more a way to save money (?) or time (?) to put it somewhere else in the episode.
Edit:
but yea, these scenes are fully embarrasing
