Just went through a Fate/Zero rewatch. So, so good. Man, Kiritsugu is such a fucking tragic character Doesn’t kill his childhood crush, which dooms his island. This leads to him killing his father. In order to prevent a similar situation he is forced to kill his adoptive mother. During the Grail War his partner dies, he sacrifices his wife, and loses his daughter. He tries to destroy the Grail, but this backfires and causes more death (plus, he’s cursed). Brutal.

I’ve watched Unlimited Blade Works but haven’t seen Heaven’s Feel. Is it worth watching?

I loved Neon Genesis Evangelion and Erased, and Hunter x Hunter (so far). And Gurren Lagann was ok. I did try the first episodes of Beastars, Cowboy Bebop, Demon Slayer, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Jojo’s Bizarre adventures. Those are not for me.

Out of these I’ve watched the first episode of Sonny Boy, most of To Your Eternity (I think, HBO Max never tells me when new episodes go up), and whatever episodes of Komi Can’t Communicate that Netflix has aired so far (I think).

I finally got around to watching the Evangelion Rebuilds on Prime video, and now I remember why I didn’t go out of my way to do it earlier. So much daddy-issues angst, annoyingly harem-style characters, plot points that just pop up out of nowhere, and I didn’t even like the mech battles much 'cause they keep doing weird “angel” morphing. If they do any more rebooting or sequels, I’m giving them a pass.

Just started watching AoT season 4. I lost some steam during season 3, but figured I’d put enough time I’d get back into it.

Only 5 episodes in, but holy hell. This show had always been dark, but this is even darker.
