Anyone here do any canning?

I love tomato juice. I’m so doing that. Any special recipe or technique?

If you have a lot of tomatoes, tomato water is awesome.

The recipe came from my father, who types much like he speaks. Your hearing gets kinda bad after 40 years in a Ford plant :P

Two days of canning done and this is all I have since I am super slow and still figuring things out. The small ones are cucumber sandwich pickles. The large ones are Garlic Dill Pickles, half of then quartered and half of them halved.

Should I can squishy cucumbers? About half my cucumbers are now soft to the touch :(

Do you cook faster than you can? If so, try Julia Child’s baked cucumber recipes. Store leftovers in the fridge so you can eat all week.

I do cook faster than I can. But we’re talking turtle speed vs. snail speed LOL.
