The one thing from Last Resort that is imprinted in my memory is the first stage’s music initial cue (that “bwwiimm” electric guitar riffle at the first second). Must be telling how repeatedly I died.
I remember more than that, of course. I distinctly remember how gorgeous that typical Japanese 90s Blade Runner inspired megalopolis in the background of the first stage was… and I seem to remember people jumping from the flying cars that were shooting at you, a bit like in the later Jets’n’Guns (excepting you couldn’t gore them back then) ?
